Tortoises!
We had an exciting visit from Bekka’s tortoises!
The children were fascinated by them and really enjoyed collecting some leaves and dandelions to feed them. We learnt that tortoises can hear even though they don’t have ears and they have a lot of feeling through the nerves in their shells. Their visit even sparked a debate among the Lions and Panthers about the differences between tortoises and turtles.
